Michael Martin was born and raised in Pineville, Louisiana, and has years of experience teaching music to students of all ages.

 

He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Education from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He pursued a Masters of Choral Conducting from Kansas State University. While there, he taught classes, conducted choirs, and managed the choral office. He then moved to New Orleans where he taught voice and piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities, and worked with the unhoused population through the New Orleans Street Choir. 

 

Michael has been an active performer. He has competed with the Northwestern State University Chamber Choir in Hungary and Austria and served as a section leader and the student conductor for the choir. He is excited to bring his knowledge, experience, and expertise to the students of Colorado!

 

Michael is available to teach in-home lessons for piano and voice in the Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Dacono, Brighton, Superior, Broomfield, and Westminster areas. Fill out our registration form to get started today!
