The Purple Piano: Music, Mindfulness & Movement

ThePurplePiano is hiring an after school piano instructor to teach private piano lessons in the Louisville/Lafayette/Erie/Broomfield, CO areas. The contractor will be paid in the range of $25 per 30-minute lesson.

ThePurplePiano values a holistic music education that teaches students theory, technique, and musicality. Instructors are encouraged to use fun activities and games during lessons, and to meet the needs of each individual student.

 

Guidelines:

​

-The contractor should be available to teach a minimum of 10 lessons during weekday after school hours (~3-7pm).

​

-The contractor must have a dependable vehicle to travel to student’s homes.

​

-The contractor should have relevant education and/or experience working with children and their families.​

​

-The contractor should be communicative and reliable.

​

-The contractor will prepare their students for a minimum of 2 performances per year.

​

-Benefits include 7 weeks paid time off per year, access to teaching resources, and pay in case of student cancelations.
