The Purple Piano: Music, Mindfulness & Movement
Private Music Lessons
Our philosophy of music, mindfulness, movement, and multisensory learning supports (but never replaces) strong musical instruction.
Whether your student is a young beginner, a teen exploring music more deeply, a homeschooler seeking enrichment, or an adult returning to music, our lessons are designed for creativity, self-expression, and long-term musical growth.
In-home lessons are available for all instruments, with piano also offered at our Erie and Louisville studio locations.
Skills Our Students Develop
Students attend weekly private sessions in 30, 45, or 60-minute formats. Lessons are tailored to each student's instrument, age, experience level, goals, and musical interests while developing strong foundational skills, including:

Recitals & Community
Students are invited to participate in two optional recitals each year, providing a fun and inspiring opportunity to celebrate progress, develop confidence, and proudly share their musical accomplishments with family and friends. We also include three group classes throughout the year at no extra cost.
Simple Tuition
We keep tuition simple and predictable with one flat monthly rate. This monthly tuition includes your reserved weekly lesson time, all recitals and group classes, and two makeup lessons during the fall and spring semesters. There are never any registration fees or per-lesson charges, and holidays are built into the studio calendar.
