Meet Your Teacher

Haley has been making music for over 27 years and teaching for more than 16. She began piano lessons at age six and quickly developed a love for composing, singing, performing, and sharing music with others. Throughout her life, she has worked with children and families in a variety of educational settings, always with the goal of helping students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Haley earned her Bachelor of Music from New York University and her Master of Arts in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, where her studies focused on student-centered teaching practices and the integration of mindfulness in music education. She is also a Certified Children's Yoga Instructor and has maintained a personal yoga practice for many years.
After experiencing firsthand the powerful impact that music and mindfulness can have on emotional well-being, Haley founded her studio with a simple mission: to make music, mindfulness, and movement accessible, engaging, and joyful for learners of all ages. She believes that music education should provide not only artistic skills, but also lifelong tools for creativity, emotional regulation, self-expression, and personal growth.
In her lessons, Haley combines high-quality music instruction with playful, multisensory learning experiences designed to help every student feel supported, successful, and inspired.
Your Learning Space
Welcome to a cozy, creative space designed to support every aspect of your musical journey. Students can enjoy playing on a beautiful Mason & Hamlin baby grand piano, collaborate on a weighted digital piano, and settle onto the comfy rug for games, movement activities, and hands-on learning experiences.
The Louisville studio is filled with resources to inspire curiosity and exploration, including an extensive library of piano literature and method books, educational games and puzzles, composition materials, crafts, and multisensory learning activities. Each student has their own folder and dedicated space within the studio, creating a sense of belonging and ownership in their learning process.
Whether you're exploring repertoire, composing original music, playing rhythm games, practicing mindfulness, or celebrating milestones with stickers and prizes, the studio is designed to be a welcoming environment where students of all ages can learn, create, and grow.
Piano Parties
All students enrolled in lessons, whether at our Louisville or Erie studios or through in-home instruction, are invited to Piano Parties held at our Louisville studio. These small, seasonal gatherings take place throughout the school year (typically in September, January, and April) and are included in tuition at no additional cost. Piano Parties offer students a fun, social way to explore music through games, crafts, and improvisation, helping reinforce key musical concepts in a playful, hands-on environment. Each session is one hour long, and attendance is optional.
"Haley is a highly knowledgeable, talented and gifted teacher of music. My daughter loves her.
Highly recommend."

Studio Assistant
Meet Myla, our studio dog and unofficial emotional support specialist. Greeting students at the door, demanding belly rubs from their families, and showing off her tricks is very serious work. Outside of these very important duties, she can usually be found napping on the studio carpet or offering gentle moral support.
